Jitterbit Launches AI-Based, Low-Code Platform With Business Transformation As The Goal
IPaaS companies like Jitterbit are increasingly expanding their product portfolios.
Jitterbit, an integration-as-a-platform (IPaaS) firm, recently announced a new service, Jitterbit Harmony.
According to Jitterbit, Harmony is a "unified, AI-infused low-code platform consisting of iPaaS, API Manager, App Builder (low-code application development formerly Vinyl), and EDI [Electronic Data Interchange] products to empower IT and line-of-business teams."
The company said that Harmony allows organizations to automate and orchestrate business processes, operations, and workflows.
The platform also includes three AI assistants: the App Builder AI Assistant, Connector AI Assistant, and the AskJB chatbot.
With the combination of low-code application development, a user interface, plus the AI assistants, Harmony is designed to allow even non-technical users to create business-transforming processes like ones that integrate applications, data, and operations, or provide data and API management; and other solutions that can help streamline day-to-day business IT functions.
Harmony has four components: Jitterbit iPaaS, which allows creating a unified system in an organization by integrating apps, data, and processes; Jitterbit API Manager; Jitterbit App Builder; and Jitterbit EDI for managing documents.
"In today's digital era, businesses are navigating hybrid IT environments with countless complex systems, applications and data sources. The data divide is a growing reality and constraints on IT resources are hindering the advancement of automation initiatives,” said Jitterbit President and CEO Bill Conner in a news release. “AI-powered automation is bridging this gap, enabling any organization to solve complex transformation journeys. By empowering both IT teams and line-of-business groups, organizations can boost productivity, efficiency, and responsiveness, creating more opportunities for innovation."
IPaaS companies like Jitterbit, and competitors including Celigo, SnapLogic, and Workato are increasingly expanding their product portfolios as more businesses introduce SaaS apps and AI tools into their workflows. Gartner called IPaaS a "high-performing market" and one experiencing "exponential" growth.
For example, last month, Workato announced the launch of Workato Data Hub Powered by Reltio, to expand its data unification and orchestration capabilities, the company said in a news release.
SnapLogic, earlier this year, launched GenAI Builder, its no-code generative AI application development offering, echoing the trend of integration companies creating apps and integration tools that can be built by department outside of IT for their own business purposes.
