Blue Mantis Rolls Out New Service ‘Poised To Deliver Strategic Guidance To Customers’
The service follows several other big moves Blue Mantis made in 2024.
IT services company Blue Mantis made a lot of big moves in 2024. Among them were acquisitions. The company acquired SME Solutions Group in October, CRN reported, and acquired unified communications company Colligio in November.
Now Blue Mantis has launched its Strategic Advisory Services Practice, aimed at assisting customers with their IT modernization, innovation and business growth goals, according to a news release.

Richard Amos and Sean Foley have joined Blue Mantis and will head up the advisory services. Amos and Foley formerly were executive partners at Arborpoint Advisory Group.
The advisory group will focus on IT modernization strategies, digital transformation, governance and operating model evolution, Blue Mantis said in a statement.
“The establishment of our Strategic Advisory Services Practice represents a significant and natural progression in Blue Mantis’ professional services portfolio expansion,” Terry Richardson, CRO of Blue Mantis, said in a statement. "Richard and Sean bring a wealth of knowledge and experience helping organizations navigate complex IT and business challenges. We are now further poised to deliver strategic guidance to our clients, helping them more directly align their IT initiatives with business outcomes and realize a measurable return on their IT investments.”
Earlier this year, MES Computing spoke with Blue Mantis CEO, Josh Dinneen. He said that the company was “intentional” in going after the midmarket.

“I believe that the midmarket is underserved. There are a lot of players in the midmarket, but there are not a lot of players that can do comprehensive technology and support for their customers. A lot of the bigger firms focus on the large enterprise space,” Dineen said.
“The midmarket for us is where we can really leverage our entire product portfolio ... whether we’re coming in to help them modernize in any capacity, whether it’s to a specific domain or more of a comprehensive business transformation, we can help them better,” he said.
