SnapLogic’s New Offering Delivers Agentic AI To The Midmarket
Agent-based AI solutions are predicted to become a big trend in business.
In a recent report, research firm Gartner predicted that agentic AI is poised to become a big tech trend in 2025—but it looks as though that trend is already happening.
As the name suggests, agentic AI is the use of intelligent agents powered by AI to “receive instructions, create a plan and use tooling to complete tasks, and produce dynamic outputs,” according to Gartner.
Last week, SnapLogic, which creates generative integration platforms, unveiled its latest offering, Agent Creator, a new platform that lets organizations build their own agents that scale and can integrate with over 1,000 systems, Snap Logic said.
While SnapLogic’s platform is used by large organizations including CBS Sports and Arizona State University, Agent Creator is suitable for the midmarket, the company said ,citing that it is being used by Independent Bank Corp., a Michigan-based community bank.
With Agent Creator, the bank has reduced help desk tickets as well as call backlogs with agent-powered voice and online assistants, according to a news release.
“With SnapLogic’s ability to automate processes and modernize the way we exchange data with systems, we have been able to transform the IT department to become a more strategic partner within the company. SnapLogic's foundation enabled us to focus on ambitious GenAI solutions that enhance customer value and job fulfillment,” Chris Michaels, senior vice president and CIO at Independent Bank, said in a statement.
Manish Rai, vice president of product marketing at SnapLogic, told MES Computing in an interview via email that Agent Creator is a “game-changer” for midmarket organizations seeking to create custom AI solutions.
What does Agent Creator mean for midsize organizations? What benefit does it deliver to a midmarket company’s bottom line?
Agent Creator is a game-changer for midsize organizations looking to harness the power of AI without the complexity often associated with enterprise-scale solutions. By enabling midmarket firms to build, deploy and manage AI agents seamlessly, Agent Creator helps automate routine and complex tasks, reduce operational inefficiencies and make data-driven decisions faster.
The direct impact on a midmarket firm’s bottom line is significant. For example, Spirent has built a sales assistant within Salesforce using Agent Creator, which has increased sales productivity by 5 percent. Independent Bank has deployed dozens of agents, including a help desk agent that automates dozens of tasks, resulting in a 60 percent reduction in tickets. In short, it allows midsize companies to do more with less, creating immediate cost savings and long-term growth opportunities.
Is Agent Creator something that a midmarket organization with limited resources can easily deploy and manage?
Absolutely. We designed Agent Creator with usability in mind. It offers a low-code environment with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, making it accessible for organizations that may not have a dedicated data science or AI team. The solution also comes with built-in observability and governance, allowing businesses to monitor and manage agents effectively without requiring advanced technical expertise.
Midsized firms can configure and deploy AI agents quickly, taking advantage of pre-built connectors and templates. This means that even companies with limited resources can benefit from advanced AI capabilities without facing steep learning curves or hefty costs. Spirent and Independent Bank, both midmarket companies, have been able to create assistants, applications and agents using Agent Creator with a very small and efficient team.
What is the pricing? Is it available direct to consumers or through the channel?
As always, pricing is dependent on the scale of the business and how many data sources and applications you want to connect, but base level Agent Creator pricing starts around $45,000 annually and this includes unlimited users.
We offer Agent Creator both directly and through our trusted network of channel partners. This approach ensures that midsized organizations can work with partners they are comfortable with, who understand their unique needs, and who can provide additional support in the deployment process.
