From Quantum To Infinity: Check Point Unveils New AI-Infused Security Offerings
AI "is the future," Check Point's CEO said at the company's conference.
Check Point showed off a slew of new security products bundled with AI and designed to meet the demands of an increasingly alarming cyber threat landscape on Tuesday at its CPX 2024 conference.
The Israel-based cybersecurity company's CEO and founder, Gil Shwed, took to the stage to announce the launch of Infinity AI Copilot - which uses natural language to interact with security administrators and helps them tackle threats within their environment. Shwed demonstrated the software's capabilities including querying it about detected user access to a server. Copilot asked if the user should be given access and if the organization's security policy should be applied - all done within seconds in the demonstration.
Check Point also announced Quantum Force - the vendor's new line of AI-backed security gateways. According to Shwed, the appliances have two times the throughput power over the previous generation of Check Point gateways.
Also announced: Harmony SaaS, a security solution to combat SaaS threats. Its features include automatic threat protection, continuous attack surface reduction and 100 percent cloud deployment.
The company is investing significantly in AI-oriented products.
"I think it's the future," Shwed told the CPX audience. With machine learning attacks becoming smarter and continued attacks on supply chains, he said the new products have been engineered to address these modern-day threats.
"With the exponential rise in SaaS adoption, organizations face unprecedented challenges in maintaining robust security and regulatory compliance. Check Point Harmony SaaS represents a pivotal advancement in our mission to provide cutting-edge cyber security solutions," said Eyal Manor, VP of Product Management at Check Point Software Technologies, in a statement. "By seamlessly integrating AI-powered threat prevention and continuous attack surface reduction, Harmony SaaS empowers organizations to stay ahead of evolving threats in the SaaS landscape, ensuring robust protection for their sensitive data and critical assets."
